Work on Patient and Public Involvement in YHHN published

Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) means researchers get to hear lived experiences of blood cancer. This paper details PPI over more than 15 years, and the time and effort given by patients and carers to ensure our studies are important and well-designed.

World Cancer Day 2026

On this 2026 #WorldCancerDay, York Press have published an article describing how the HMRN research team work with people with blood cancer across the region, and with their NHS clinicians to improve care and outcomes for patients.

Our findings don’t just have local impact though, as our research benefits patients across the UK and globally. We are very grateful for the continued support we receive from CRUK.
